Upcoming Geology Meetings - Spring 2009
The Geology Section meets on the second and fourth Fridays of every month from the beginning of the year and plan to meet on the following dates:-
- Friday, 27th March at 7:30pm at La Hougue Bie - Lecture on The Tar Pits, Los Angeles
- Friday, 10th April - Good Friday - No Meeting
- Friday, 24th April at 7:30pm - Field Trip - Granophyre and associate dykes, Mount Bingham/South Hill
- Friday, 8th May at 8:00pm at La Hougue Bie - Preparation of field samples
- Friday, 22nd May at 8:00pm at La Hougue Bie - Lecture on Titanotheres - After the Dinosaurs
- Friday, 12th June at 7:30pm - Field Trip - Seawall Textures, La Haule to Les Mielles
- Friday, 26th June at 7:30pm - Field Trip - Building Stones, St Ouen's Manor
- Friday, 10th July at 8:00pm at La Hougue Bie - Programme Meeting for second half 2009
