Mycology Review - Autumn 2006
With the recent wet weather the mushroom season has started. The Mycology Section will be organizing a programme of forays over the autumn when a wide variety of species can be expected. Last year we were fortunate enough to find a species never previously recorded in Britain and it is likely that much else remains to be discovered. Details of these events can be obtained from the Chairman or Secretary.
Any Société member who has an interest in fungi, at whatever level, is urged to contact the Chairman, Nick Aubin (Tel: 726187 or the Secretary, Nick Armstrong (Tel: 888949). We would also be interested if any member, who has a large garden with mature trees, would grant the section permission to foray this autumn.
